BAD FRIEND!!

I'm a terrible friend!

Two weeks ago I received a surprise in the mail. It was the perdy necklace "Speak Freely With Love" that my friend Sam had for sale on Etsy. I had mentioned the necklace in a post about Sam. It was mostly a plug to get you suckers to go check out Sam's Etsy page. Free advertising! :P And low and behold, this gorgeous necklace shows up in my mail box. Now, I intended to blog about this surprise at LEAST 2 weeks ago, but I hid in a cave for a bit to get my brain back and I'm sure in the last 2 weeks Sami has been wondering, patiently, if I ever did receive her glorious gift! WELL I DID INDEED! And I have worn it every day since! :P I absolutely love it! It's just beautiful. I'm so happy to finally have a powerful piece of jewelry around my neck again. Thank you So Much Sami! What a wonderful surprise! I shall post some pics here of it A.s.ap. I am honestly having some issues catching up on all that I have put on hold! LOL The down side of a Hiatus I suppose.

I wanted to say an Important Thank You to Bethany for the beautiful Beany Header!



I found Bethany through blogging. I am so thrilled to have met so many new people through the blogging community.

Bethany simply amazes me. She has a Family Blog, Life With Bubba, Chicky and Nika!,
An Adoption Blog that tells the story about Addison AKA Nika, who the Balsis family adopted from Russia, and, if you can believe it, here is a link to Bethany and her Other Identity!

She has 3 beautiful kids, 2 lil Girls with DS, Addison and Payton, and Mason, the coolest big brother those 2 lil girls could ask for, and 3 BLOGS! Talk about ambitious. Her Other Identity blog is awesome. She has a wonderful hobby/addiction to photography that she seems to have a knack for.
With that she uses her creative energy to help fellow bloggers with Headers and various other projects and goodies! I only wish I had HALF the time she did!

So simply! Thank you to you Bethany for giving me a lil bit of your precious and well disbursed time!

NANA UPDATE~

Today Nana went home. *Sob* *Cry* *Sniff*

We love it when Nana comes to visit for a few reasons. First and foremost the Bean Adores! her and just lights up when he is with her. What a great and fabulous week he had, spending his days with her. D and I also had a bit of spare time this week which was great! Nana however, worked her buns off. She was feeding, clean, bathing, playing and constantly attending to the Bean's every whim. Not only was she spoiling the Bean but she can keep a kitchen clean, make dinner and do laundry WHILE taking care of the Bean, which doesn't make me look like a super mom. Mind you, she does have 30 more years of child rearing under her belt. Again, I hope to be half the woman that my mother is by the time I am her age. I am sad that she doesn't live in town, being a 12 hour drive away is hard on her I'm sure. The Hunter Bean is so damn adorable that it must be agony being so far away :P! But Nana and Granddad will be back in April for Bean's Big Day! He turns 1 on April 2ND! We shall have a spectacular To do!

Back to Nana!

Nana has a kick ass Camera! She took a TONNE of pics of the Hunter Bean while she was here and uploaded them on to my computer. I'm at work right now so sadly I can't upload any pics at the moment but I will as soon as I get home, or first thing in the morning. There are some Fabulous pictures of him! He is looking more and more like a little boy and less like a baby. Everyday I see so many new things in his face, his eyes, his new adventurous personality. I am constantly in awe! Extra special is that fact that he looks so much like his Daddy so he will just get more and more handsome as he gets older!

Which reminds me. I have decided to start a new weekly post. I have noticed that a lot of people have Wordless Wednesdays, which is a great idea that I might steal. I would like to start a Thankful Thursday Post to hopefully keep me grounded and grateful. Not often enough do people stop and reflect on what they are thankful for, instead, focusing on problems. SOOOoo...
