THE BEAN WALKS! (again)

Here is a Video that Nana Has been waiting patiently for!

Blackeyed Bean talks!

Here is a video of the Beans SECOND black eye from his new found talking skills.
The second video is from the same morning and Beany was being really chatty and making some awesome faces. I thought you might like it.

The Pirate Bean

Bean got a hold of one of Sam's wooden Samurai Swords one day and he looked to me like a tiny pirate out for blood, or a bottle of milk! Which ever!

Home

Here is a trailer for the movie project called Home.

After you watch the trailer, if you are interested in watching the entire movie, you can watch the whole thing here. Home Project Full Movie.

Just a little something I stole off of Mike's Bloggity Blog, to share with you, my hippy, tree hugging, earth loving friends!

Wow! I've gotten a little behind! You will see the pun shortly!

Here is the Bean Watching Pocoyo!
He stops everything when Pocoyo comes on.
Otherwise, This is what he does when Pocoyo is NOT on!
He trashes the living room!

And I was too lazy to bath him up stairs in the tub one day!
That back fired as his newest favorite thing is Splashing.
I literally had to MOP up after wards. But my floor was cleaner!

No Beany! Glasses Stay ON!

I think I say this about 100 times a day!

Well I haven't updated yet about Hunter Beans Eye doctor appointment because I wanted to wait till I had pictures to add to the post. Here Is Mr. Bean in his new glasses.

Apparently he is far sighted for his age so he is over focusing which is causing him to cross his eyes, so for the next few months the Ophthalmologist has asked that we get him to wear these to keep him from crossing his eyes, just until he grows into his vision a little. I guess as he grows and his eyes grow his vision will improve so this is just for the short term to keep the crossing from getting serious. I think he looks FANFRIGGINGTASTIC!

More Movies!

Just a few videos to keep Nana happy!

~First one here is of Kaden and Beany playing together~

And here is my Champ!

He has discovered how to pull himself to a stand!

Here he pulled himself up while I was eating lunch the other day and I was tempting him to stay up with lil piece of hot dog! Bribery! What an awful mother I am!

He He He!

Sharon, Lois and Bram are playing in the back ground!

For any of you moms from the States who have not heard of Sharon, Lois and Bram, I highly suggest googling them and getting your hands on some of their music. That was one of their softer songs but typically they are so much fun for kids. As Canadian kids we grew up with their music and I don't think there is a Canuck kid that hasn't heard of them. Lots of silly songs and lyrics and fabulous music for memory and rhyming.

Sigur Ros Video

I wanted to share this video with you. I actually stumbled across it on a fellow bloggers page and find it quite the coincidence. This is a song by Sigur Ros, a band from Iceland that I saw ages ago in Vancouver. Colin and I went to see them perform at a cathedral down town. It was an absolutely amazing show despite the fact that the songs are in a kind of Icelandic pigeon language. The video for this song is absolutely beautiful. Angelic yet earthly. I'm very glad I stumbled across it.

Up Syndrome

I was surfing Youtube, watching cute videos of babies and kids with Down Syndrome, and came across a video called Up Syndrome. There are two parts, both are roughly 10 mins long. If you have time please take a look. You will be pleasantly surprised.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tTBSUPM_3U Part 1

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYtXcu11-2M Part 2

Here is the write up from Youtube.

UP SYNDROME won the Grand Prize at director Kevin "Clerks" Smith's Movies Askew contest in 2006 and screened at the Slamdance Film Festival 2001. This is a shortened version of a longer 82-minute film titled UP SYNDROME, which is a multi-award-winning documentary that has garnered international acclaim as one of the most honest portrayals of Down's Syndrome ever committed to film. Synopsis: "University of Texas student Duane Graves chronicles his charismatic childhood chum Rene Moreno, a San Antonio native with Down Syndrome, in this playful, stirring, remarkably unique portrait documentary."

This is the link to the Up Syndrome web site. http://www.trisomyfilms.com/upsyndrome.html

I absolutely love these previews and I think I am going to order a copy of the DVD for Sam and David.
